The students can voice chat or text chat with others and they can participate in a virtual world of learning through role playing. Second life allows the students to go to places like the Japanese earthquake locations and analyze why the earthquake occurred. Or they can visit an anti-violence campus and learn about bullying, violence, attend courses and seminars. They can visit a nuclear power plant or neurotech facility. They can meet the staff of these facilities and ask questions.

They can visit any college of their choice and sit in on classes and engage in some of the wildest adventures possible.
